Crazy huh?  I have first hand knowledge of 2 people who have started P90X and less then 2 weeks later have developed hemorrhoids.  What does this mean?  P90X is a killer workout that will push your body to the limits and if you are not careful past it’s limits.

This morning’s workout was the Cardio Power and Resistance disk.  It is a powerful workout.  As all the Insanity workout start with 3 rounds of warm-up that get progressively harder then the stretch and then hold onto your hats the actual workout for the last 22 minutes.  I kept watching the timer count down.  It seemed to take forever just to get to 10 minutes left.  However it is a fabulous workout and for anyone looking to melt fat off of your body Insanity is the workout for you.  I …

My workout for today was Chest and Back.  At the beginning of the workout Tony Horton tells you to get ready because Chest and Back ‘works ya’ and he is not kidding.  P90X Chest and Back workout is jam packed with push ups and pull ups.  All from different angles to work all aspects of the chest. You got standard, military, wide, decline and diamond push ups to really isolate the upper pecs as well as the lower pecs. This is a common question.  I bought P90X and like the workouts but do I really have to follow the diet.  Well, yes and no.  To get an amazing transformation you have to be religious about the diet and the workouts.  To get in great shape and improve your overall health then doing the workouts and embracing a diet of moderation will get you there.

As Tony says in the beginning of the workout, we are building the biceps, or the arm nuggets as he calls them.  Working the showcase muscles, that is what Back and Biceps does.  If you are a guy and want to look good in a tank top or for the girls sleeveless dress you will love this workout.  It is an fantastic arm workout.  21′s are my favorite and the strip sets at the end will kill your biceps.  The back gets a healthy dose of pull-ups and chin-ups.  The corncob’s …

I cannot believe it, well actually I can but I saw something today that I have not seen in 10 years.  I got on the scale and the first 2 number were a 1 and  an 8.  I weighed in  at 187.5 this morning.  I have not been under 190 since I got married 10 years ago.  P90X absolutely rocks in the last 30 days.  I am starting to see some impressive results but by far is a 16.5 weight loss in 60 days and the huge increase in the …

 The natural instinct of people when they see something that is hard to believe is they think it is a scam.  Instead of real people making amazing transformations it must be a bunch of actors and fancy lighting.  Nothing could be further from the truth. P90X is a more then a workout, it is a life changing experience.

OK I am now almost halfway through my 90 days and let me tell you I was a bit skeptical at first.  I was working hard but not really seeing an dramatic results.  I have not lost a dramatic amount of weight or suddenly sprouted a six pack.   However I got a compliment yesterday and I did notice that some of my T shirts that used to fit loosely across the shoulders and chest are a little tighter.
